[+]HISTORY OF ARC:

The Associated Reflexologists of Colorado was formed in 1992. The official by-laws of ARC were adopted in 1993. ARC originally met bimonthly but now meets on a quarterly basis. As public awareness of Reflexology has grown , so too has its membership. ARC began with 6 people in 1992 and now boasts around 75 members. It increases its membership by two or three people at most meetings.

[+]MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of ARC is to advance Reflexology as a profession and to assist Reflexologists in becoming more effective through continuing education and sharing in both Reflexology theory and practical techniques.

[+]GOALS OF ARC:

  • To protect the field of Reflexology by working with the state legislature to maintain the right to practice Reflexology as its own modality throughout the State of Colorado.
  • To enhance the public's awareness of Reflexology.
  • To provide a forum and opportunity for Colorado Reflexologists and interested lay people to gather together periodically for mutual support and sharing.

[+]MEMBERSHIP:

ARC encourages membership from Reflexologists as well as Reflexology students and interested benefactors.

    • Members periodically receive discounts on continuing education courses that are sponsored by ARC.
    • Members receive an alphabetical listing of all current members for purposes of making referrals, scheduling Reflexology exchanges, etc.
    • Members are given the option to be included on the referral list on this web site. Links are provided from this site to the individual's own email or web site.
